ODI Monitoring

  • We identify any suspect processes that have taken longer/shorter or affected more/less records than usual
  • We can optionally notify you of any rejected records in any of your source or target data stores for data quality reasons
  • Failed processes or components can be restarted, according to your in-house standards and guidelines

ODI Administration

  • Deployment and scheduling of Load Plans and/or Scenarios to Production Work Repository
  • Logical and Physical Architecture Topology Layer maintenance - including creating/altering contexts; creating/altering data server credentials or logical/physical schema entries.
  • ODI User and Privilege maintenance - including changing passwords; altering generic and non generic profiles and permissions across multiple Work Repositories; creating/altering ODI users.
  • Model Metadata maintenance - including Reverse Engineering Model Metadata; creating/altering Models, Sub Models, and Diagrams; creating/altering Journalizing options for Change Data Capture; synchronizing Model changes to physical database environments; performing static checks against source/target data stores to evaluate data quality; setting Slowly Changing Dimension properties at the attribute level as necessary; creating/altering Key and Constraint definitions
  • Agent maintenance - including creating/altering physical Agent processes in either a J2EE Managed or Stand Alone environment; creating Windows service wrappers for Agent processes as necessary; creating/updating odiparams files and JDBC drivers as necessary; troubleshooting Agent configuration or performance issues; recycling or restarting Agent processes as necessary.
